Built in 2011 by Fassmer, the 29-metre fishery research vessel Clupea, is owned by German Authority Bundesanstalt für Landwirtschaft und Ernährung (BLE). Möhring Marine Service GmbH was responsible for the air conditioning, technical rooms, provision cooling and engine room ventilation onboard this vessel.
